This year although it may seem it was another great year on Facebook or Instagram it was a painful year. It was a year that brought deeper awareness and self-reflection not just at the end of it but year-round. It honestly felt like two different years. All of a sudden after the summer I was surrounded by a bunch of people, I assumed were friends but ended up being acquaintances or just faded into people “I used to know”.
2019 taught me we all choose who we surround ourselves with and when it no longer makes us happy, we can also choose to remove ourselves. No drama, no explanation, no apology, no closure required.

You’ll hear many speak of 2020 being the year of clear vision, the year of focus, or the year to double down. What I know for sure is when you add the 2’s you get a 4 – A number of stability. A number that represents home, solid foundations and belonging. In the 4th house of astrology being represented by Cancer and the Moon therefore requiring lots of nurturing, self-love and care. It also represents the people we surround ourselves with, the family we create and basic trust.

I’ve learned some amazing things these last few weeks and am so grateful for all of these souls for fulfilling their end of the contract and holding up the mirror for me.

For blessing me with more growth this year then I thought I could have received. Losing someone I loved in a romantic relationship was difficult in 2018 and I was able to rebuild. Losing more than a few “friends”, not having to explain myself, not having closure, and not chasing after those who chose to remove themselves really shows me how detached and resilient, I need to become for 2020.

The last two years have been hard but so very rewarding.

My story doesn’t end here but my year in review per Facebook is false. My top 9 on IG is wrong. The main people who shared so much of my first half of the year with aren’t around anymore by choice, had it been theirs or mine. Soul contracts end when you can say I wish you the best, feel it in your heart and have a smile on your face and peace in your heart. 2019 a Karmic year – I WISH YOU THE BEST!
